How visavis connects your team

Have a look at the visav.is app and the story behind it.

The difference: Outside of meetings, the team is connected via live video

By seemlessly showing your teammates on the side of your screen, visavis carries the visual context of the office into the remote workplace. While audio is initially off, it can be added anytime.

You can instantly engage into a spontaneous conversation

It's as simple as looking across your desk and starting a conversation. Naturally. Without a planned meeting. But with screen share and other collaboration features if needed.

Feel like a team again!

visavis helps your team get back to normal - not only by freeing up calendars from remote-driven catch-ups. It promotes a more natural and inclusive atmosphere that ultimately helps teams to grow, bond, and succeed.

Connect to your teammates - wherever you are

Whether you're working from home, at the office, or on the beach - our app for Mac and Windows connects you to your team. When you're on the go, hop into your team room via our web client.

FAQ

  • On what systems can I use visavis?

The visavis app is available for current versions of MacOS and Windows 10/11. When you're on the go, you can also connect to your team via our webclient. As such, your team is with you, wherever you are.

  • We are keen to try things out. How do you recommend we get started?

Introducing visav.is means letting go of some old habits and embracing a collaboration environment that is more direct and spontaneous than what home office used to be. To successfully take your team along this change journey, the first step should be to get everyone onboard and speak about their expectations. Keep in mind that remote work at its best is about flexibility, not face-time. visav.is has been built to support the former - empowering your team by means of a more human-centered, more engaging, and ultimately more inclusive team experience. Are you ready to get started? Simply register above - and we'll be in touch asap for your personal onboarding session.

  • Do I need to keep the camera on at all times?

No, you don't. You can always switch off your camera at the click of a button, should the moment not be right.

  • Can I use other video applications (e.g. teams, zoom) in parallel?

Yes, you can. MacOS generally allows using your video in multiple applications at the same time. On Windows, you have two choices: (a) You can put visavis on "pause" while e.g. attending a zoom call. "Pausing" allows other apps to use your camera - "unpausing" visavis after your zoom call reconnects you with your team. (b) You can install a virtual camera software to allow multiple apps to use your camera in parallel. "Snap Camera" (by snapchat) is a simple gamified example - OBS Studio (+virtual camera plugin) is a more expert-type variant.
